Dr. Vishwanath Narhari Magdum is a senior and highly respected Urologist and Endo-Surgeon with over 45 years of clinical and academic excellence. A pioneer in urology in western Maharashtra, he is the Founder and Director of Magdum Endo-Surgery Institute, a 25-bedded state-of-the-art urology hospital in Kolhapur.
Dr. Magdum holds multiple qualifications, including M.S., F.C.P.S., F.I.A.S., and F.I.G.E.S., and has performed over 18,500+ urological surgeries under various government health schemes. With a distinguished teaching career spanning 30 years as Professor and HOD of Urology at R.C.S.M. Government Medical College, Kolhapur, he has also trained in the U.K. at prestigious institutions like St. Bath’s and Royal Marsden Hospitals in London.
He is a lifetime member of several global urological associations and is widely known for his surgical skill, especially in PCNL, having performed over 10,000 procedures. Dr. Magdum continues to serve the community through regular free urology camps and ongoing academic contributions.
Dr. Prasad Vishwanath Magdum is a highly skilled Urologist and General Surgeon with extensive academic training and clinical experience. He holds an M.B.B.S., DNB in General Surgery, and M.Ch. in Urology from prestigious institutions including KLE’s University, Belgaum. With years of rigorous training at renowned centers like R.C.S.M. Government Medical College and KLES Kidney Foundation, Dr. Magdum has developed expertise in endourology, laparoscopy, and complex urological conditions.
Currently practicing as a Junior Consultant at Magdum Endo Surgery Institute in Kolhapur, he has presented numerous research papers at national and international conferences and has several publications in reputed medical journals. His clinical interests include kidney stone management, PPL (Percutaneous Lithotripsy), pediatric urology, and urological oncology.
